What Are Ornamental Tattoos?
Ornamental tattooing draws on decorative traditions from around the world — mandalas, lacework, filigree, and geometric patterns — arranged to follow the natural lines of your body. Instead of a single picture, an ornamental piece is a designed composition: symmetrical, flowing, and made to fit the specific curve of a shoulder, spine, sternum, or thigh.
My Approach
I design every ornamental piece by hand, combining fine linework with bolder decorative elements so it reads well both up close and from across the room. My background in graphic and interior design shapes how I balance detail, negative space, and symmetry. Many of my designs are inspired by patterns I've collected while travelling, then adapted to your body and your story.
