Claire's Arm Tattoo Integration

Claire came in with a faded design she got done years on the under side of her forearm ready for change. Originally we wanted to cover it. Or just leave it where it was and design around it.

That day never came.

Over several sessions it kept laying there being untouched. I fianlly picked up my fine line machine and mimicked the original artwork; weaving it throughout the rest of the piece we designed.

The two pieces became one. This is what I tattoo for, to welcome who you are and integrate it into who you are becoming.
